Join JASNA-NC for a discussion of Jane Austen’s unfinished novel The Watsons this June. Bring a cup of tea and settle on in with us as we explore this brief manuscript. Our facilitator will be Mary Jane Curry, and we look forward to our conversation (what a perfect Summer read: short, and from Jane Austen!). Because there is no Jane Austen Summer Program (JASP) in 2024, we’re switching up our Virtual Book Club timing so that we can read a Jane Austen work this June in place of our usual tea and miscellany meeting that has a JASP recap.

About The Virtual Book Club
The Virtual Book Club takes place quarterly with the typical following rotation: a contemporary of Austen, nonfiction work, an Austen work, and fan fiction. We’re switching up the timing and order of our book club this year due to scheduling opportunities and book releases, and our members Mary Jane Curry, Nancy Martin Young, and Sara Tavela serve as our book club facilitators and help coordinate our book selections.
