December 4, 2022 – Outing to PlayMaker’s Emma

Who needs to swipe right when you have Emma Woodhouse?

PlayMakers Repertory Company is putting on Kate Hamill’s adaptation of Emma, directed by Meredith McDonough, November 16-December 4. There are tickets for in-person or streaming performances available. Let us know if you would like to attend the play with the JASNA-NC group for the December 4th matinee at 2 p.m., and we will arrange group tickets. We are ordering the group tickets Wednesday, November 9th, so let us know before then if you would like to join in the fun.

About the play

Emma prides herself on being a matchmaker with an impeccable track record. But her best-laid plans are turned upside down by unpredictable displays of affection, unexpected rivals, and Emma’s sudden realization that true love may have been under her nose all along. This playful adaptation turns the Jane Austen classic into a delightful comedy for the 21st century. See here to learn more.

JASP’s “A Day Out With Emma”
