Take a break after the holidays and join us for a few rounds of Bingo! These games feature characters from Jane Austen’s novels set in a familiar Bingo context, with one novel per game. Lisa Brown, from the JASNA Central and Western NY Region and the creator of Jane Austen Bingo, will call these Bingo games for us.

THE DETAILS
What: JASNA-NC Member Meeting, Jane Austen Bingo with Lisa Brown
When: Sunday, January 24, 2021, 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Where: In the comfort of your home via Zoom
RSVP: This is a member-only event; it is FREE but RSVP is required and there is a maximum of 30. Register here.
No special knowledge of Austen’s works is required. Instead of calling out a letter and number, as in traditional Bingo, our caller will call out the name of a character in one of the novels. For example, she might call out “Pen Harrington,” a character in Pride and Prejudice. If Pen’s name is on your card, then you can cover that square whether or not you know who she is. The caller will then remind us of Pen’s place in the novel. That way, we’ll have fun AND learn something about the more obscure Austen characters. Winners will be accorded the singular honor of telling all their friends and acquaintances that they won Jane Austen Bingo! (Oh, maybe we’ll manage a prize too…)
This game is limited to 30 people, so sign up soon!
