Our August 21 meeting is our Virtual Book Club. This quarter we are reading an Austen novel, Sense and Sensibility. The meeting will be facilitated by member Mary Jane Curry. Sense and Sensibility ties in with our national group’s upcoming Annual General Meeting in Victoria, BC (or in the comfort of your own home with a virtual ticket). We look forward to a stimulating and lively discussion of this beloved Austen novel!
To prepare for the meeting, please check out the questions and insights Mary Jane has provided for us, found at the bottom of this page. We also recommend that you read Joan Klingel Ray’s article on Sense and Sensibility‘s men. Whether this is your first time reading this Austen novel or your hundredth, we look forward to the insights we will gain in this reading together!
